You will receive an email prompting you to provide documentation verifying your professional status. We will review your documents within two business days and will let you know as soon as we’ve activated your trade account.
Note that for U.S. designers, we accept any one of the following types of documentation (must have copies for our records and tax purposes):
- business license for a design business
- professional license for the design industry
- membership in a design industry association
- interior design certification
- W-9 showing a Federal Tax Identification Number or Employer Identification Number.
For designers outside of the U.S., we will ask you to submit the appropriate documentation for your country to verify that you are a design professional. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org with additional questions.
